guess who's 29 today?

I just can not believe it. how paths crossed and aligned. how dreams coincided. and baby twins were born. the insecurities I wrapped myself up in and eventually shelved. and silenced. making my somewhat unconventional self shine among people I respect, admire and love.

today I am 29. ghost still tugged at my sleeves. and my hands still too slippery to hold onto anything. but life getting fantastically better as the years slip by. showering me with love and good people. and a memorable celebration of the day my mom passed out during labor and doctors had to pull me out using forceps.

Happy belated Birthday. It looks like you had an amazing time. I just can't get over how YOUNG you are. I mean I guess I knew it, but to see it in "bright lights" - you're only 29!!!!

I am much older than that and I don't know if it gets easier - although I didn't start having babies till I was 36. That probably explains most of my issues! :)

So I had planned this big brithday thing for you because I found out about your birthday from shanna weeks again. I was going to send you a cool package, I even just sent the book off yesterday and didn't include anything becuase well really no excuse is good enough but because I am totally overwhelmed.
