5 questions

the witty and hilarious ChickenFlicken asked me 5 questions. and though I rarely do interviews because I'm always afraid to bore people to tears, I can hardly refuse anything to someone who calls me her "petit chou".

1. if I were to somehow manage to get to Paris, and you were to have a day to entertain me, what would we do?

we would have a nice brunch at Ladurée on Champs Elysées, then a walk in the Jardin des Tuileries and across the Pont des Arts, rent bicycles for a ride around Saint Germain des Prés and Quartier Latin. we would have lunch at La Petite Cour, visit the Marais and have tea at Mariage Frères or an ice cream on Ile Saint Louis (or both!). we would go shopping or spend some time on the Champs de Mars while looking up at the Eiffel Tower, and then go to a Korean restaurant for dinner.

2. if you were to come to the USA, what's the one thing you'd have to do while you were here (besides sit on my porch, sipping bourbon and coke with me and Mindy)?

have a cupcake. or spend a day at Old Navy, I can't decide.

3- do you plan to have more children, or have Sean and Will scared it out of you?

if you were sitting in my living-room right now, you wouldn't even ask me this question.

4. favorite singer/band/performer?

Jamie Cullum and Norah Jones.

5. imagine your life if you were unmarried and child-free right now... describe it to me.

I guess I would be renting a small apartment, designing websites or producing short movies and writing screenplays for a living. I would wear white more often, own a pair of heels. and probably dream of getting married and having a house filled with laughter, toys and loud conversation.

I like the answer to your last question - do you think you're living in that house filled with laughter and loud conversation now?

Awesome answers! And I'm pretty sure you can eat a cupcake AT Old Navy. It is America, after all ;)

What a great answer on that last one, and so true that you would probably dream of having what it is you already have.

I like your answers, not bored to death at all :) I'd mail you a cupcake, but can only imagine what it'd look like after a couple of days with La Poste!

YAY!! I have to admit, I read the answer to the first question with difficulty, using fake french-sounding non-words for the actual french words. Because I can't speak French. But it sounds like fun, I'm on my way over!
#2 - I will bake you some cupcakes that we will then eat AT Old Navy, plus I'll take you to TJMaxx and Ross and Marshall's, and you will be my pal forever.

#3 - HAHA!! My third baby is so easy, since there's only one of her. After twins, anything is a snap. (That is actually my mantra...If I can have twins, I can do any damn thing.)

#4 - Okay!

#5 - I know what you mean. The rare occassions I get some alone time, I don't know what to do with myself and I end up missing them terribly. I went away for one night this weekend, and by the next morning, I was aching to get back to them.

I spent 1 hour at Old Navy on Saturday with all of my kids and my husband. Word of advice, if you are going all day...go alone.

you know...i could arrange that cupcake and an old navy tank top or something???

haaaaaaaaaaaa.

also RE: shoes. my in law and I went to this art exhibit a few months back... where there was this shoemaker guy...circa 1910...doing his little handmade shoe thing...only these shoes were brilliant. like that bensimons...only even more so. in a dressier way. pure leather..like butter..

of course, he turns out to be the personal shoe maker for Norah Jones. They are THE norah shoes.

I had clutched very tightly a beautiful persimmon colored pair of ballet shoes...for about a minute. until he told me they were 5 hundy.

norah got some good taste alright.

"...designing websites or producing short movies and writing screenplays for a living." Think how much better those things would be with the life you DO have. ;)
