letting go

"today I love books, but I keep my collection small and regularly work at editing my shelves. due to my aunt, I learned that we don't need books as much as we need what is in them: their inspiration for the future."

- Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, Apartment Therapy

I'm giving away,

Time out: soul talk for stay-at-home moms
The art of parenting twins
The stay-at-home parent survival guide

hoping they will find a new home soon and be as helpful as they have been for me when Sean and Will were little babies. if you're interested, please leave a comment (with the title of the book you'd like to have) or email me before Sunday, July 27th.

I should do the same with my bookselves! Fantastic quote, btw.

I'm interested in both of the stay-at-home books. I don't want to be greedy, though. Which did you enjoy better?

What a pretty picture!! I just unloaded 2 big bags of books from my cabinet. I donated those to make room for new ones.
(don't put me in the contest, unless you see twins in my future. LOL)

You've reminded me that I need to read my copy of Apartment Therapy... but I can't see that I'd be able to get rid of books! Old friends, so many of them.

I love that you're giving away books not because they're trash but because they meant something to you. I'd be interested in one of the stay-at-home ones if you're okay shipping to Italy. :)

Hi Irene, I don't expect you to ship all the way to Malaysia but thanks for sharing those titles. Number one sounds like something I need, so I'm off to the shops to see if they have it!!
